Valorisation of Human Capital in the Moroccan and Tunisian Footwear Sector
VALHC project envisages to contribute to the reduction of the skills mismatch in the footwear sector of Morocco and Tunisia, to support the generational replacement in the footwear sector of Morocco and Tunisia and to foster sustainable cooperation among the VET system and the footwear industrial ecosystem in Morocco and Tunisia.
Its specific objectives are:
To enhance the skills of present and future workforce from the Moroccan and Tunisian footwear industry on sustainability, digitalisation and entrepreneurship (industry’s needs).
To increase the level of adherence of Moroccan and Tunisian senior footwear experts to continuous vocational education and training (C-VET).
To improve WBL approach in footwear VET programmes in Morocco and Tunisia.
To broaden the awareness of footwear VET programmes among young people in Morocco and Tunisia.
To reduce the time required for footwear VET graduates to establish a first contact with the labour market in Morocco and Tunisia.
To materialise the cooperation efforts between the Moroccan and Tunisian VET system and the footwear industry to ensure continuous collaboration.
